Online Service Standards

Educational Living utilises online delivery as one of the delivery modes.  As our courses are designed to provide practical skills, most students will experience online delivery as only part of the overall delivery strategy.

Student digital literacy

During the pre-enrolment discussions, the suitability of including an online component with the training will be determined by your trainer or an RTO Delegate.  These discussions will take into consideration:

  • the availability of online content for the units being delivered
  • access to a reliable internet connection
  • the digital skills of each learner in the cohort

Training and Assessment Strategies

If online delivery is employed, this will be done through our Learner Portal.  The learning and assessment materials on the portal, while based on our printed resources, are tailored specifically for the online environment.  They are reviewed and validated alongside the printed resources as part of the suite of resources for each Unit of Competency.

Support services

Support is available from both your trainer and our Student Services department between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
